PCS Awarded – Excellence in Construction

Potomac Construction is proud to announce that our dedication to excellence and focus on teamwork was recently recognized by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Metro Washington during the 2021 “Excellence in Construction Awards” (EIC) on September 22, 2021 at the Ritz Carlton Tyson Center.

Potomac Construction was awarded in two categories, both in the hospitality and food and beverage industry:

• Commercial Renovation, $2-4 million: Viceroy, Washington DC. Potomac Construction renovated the public gathering areas and guest rooms of this 178-room hotel in downtown D.C. Also completed during the pandemic, Potomac Construction managed the renovation effectively and seamlessly, working on the guest rooms systematically and ensuring all new public spaces were completed with impeccable attention to detail.
• Restaurant Interior Build Out: Imperfecto, Washington, D.C. This 3,860 SF Mediterranean and Latin American restaurant in D.C.’s West End was built in the midst of the pandemic and was inspired by Greek culture. With seating for just under 100 people, the eatery features a few distinct dining areas including a main dining room, bar, a private dining room, and the Chef’s Table.

Each year, the EIC recognizes and celebrates outstanding projects built by Metro Washington-area ABC members. To be recognized for our work is a true honor. While we are thrilled to be applauded for our work as contractors, these awards also point to the emphasis Potomac Construction puts on teamwork and cooperation. Neither award would be possible without our team, our clients, and our partners coming together during such uncertain times.
